BYOF- bring your own frame! Join us as we welcome back Allison Day of Cedar Lane Art Co. for this hands-on experience exploring basic oil painting techniques by painting a classic seascape. Allison will lead you through her process step by step. Please bring your own 4x6 or 5x7 frame WITHOUT glass.
Oil paintings need a few days to dry before being varnished, so we’ll send you home with your painting and frame, plus a tiny bottle of varnish with instructions for how to finish your masterpiece.

Experience Level: Beginner through Advanced
Materials: Canvas paper, paints and varnish are included in registration. Please bring your own 4×6 or 5×7 frame (without glass)

Enroll by May 30, 2026. Our classes require a minimum number of students in order to run. If that minimum has not been met one week before the scheduled start of the class, the class will be cancelled. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
Cancellations must be made prior to May 30, 2026 for a credit towards a future workshop.
